passing I see them
blossoms looking to sunlight
each waving hello

grey clouds filled with hail
rain dropping humidity
pine tree umbrella

Laying in gravel
Brilliant orange and black broken
finding a monarch

Streaks on my windshield
green ditches filled with beauty
sunflowers with lace

Driving through blue black
thinking of what is to come
I can smell sweet grass

Late summer morning
orange crescent wakes before dawn
chased by sunlight west

Corn stalks whispering
sun dressed in far away smoke
beauty from chaos

rag weed and tired green
bathing in yellow sunlight
it's only Hump day
